I gave up on NCIS years ago when Michael Weatherly left. I was always a huge Tony fan...though these days, after the sexual harassment claims against MW, I'm a little less of a fan of either the actor or character. But I still smiled tonight when Tony walked into autopsy, gave Jimmy a bowtie (and tied it for him) and told a story Ducky had told him. I smiled at both "Autopsy Gremlin" and "McHurry" (when McGee told the two of them they were going to be late). The entire episode was really well done and a lovely tribute to actor David MacCallum.
It was a little odd, however, not knowing anyone but Palmer and McGee, and I'd forgotten that I'd read somewhere that Palmer's wife Breena had died on the show, so it was jarring when he was talking about the spot of his and Jess' first date.
