I debated renewing it this year...even though it's not horribly expensive (I believe it's around $50 now for a basic membership? $55?), I decided against it because I cannot remember the last time I used my membership. And I don't think I *ever* used it for anything auto-related; I used to use their travel agency back before everyone went to booking everything online themselves. In fact, the last time I used AAA's travel agency was some time in the 2010s...I actually got charged something like $25, despite being a member of AAA, for services I could've easily done in the comfort of my own home. Other than that and a couple times I remembered to use my AAA discount for a rental car or hotel, I never use it, so I'm not sure the (small) expense is worth it.
