Now, there are some poses I can now only do from a very high position because of my very stupid left hip and knee, namely, side angle pose. But I can still do full triangle because there isn't much strain on the hips and knees. I can also still do upward dog, which surprised me.
Right now, I'm all about self-care and easing my anxiety and long-simmering PTSD (which, BTW...is nowhere near the PTSD experienced by people I know with severe childhood trauma - but it's still there and my behaviors as a young adult were classic signs of trauma). It's kind of a relief to wake up and do something more relaxing, instead of heavy duty aerobics and weight lifting. It eases my AM anxiety.
So I think this will be my routine for the week. I may do Pilates Fix tomorrow AM (from 21 Day Fix on BODI). I'll reassess on Sunday but this week will be all walking 10K steps (when it's not pouring) and yoga or Pilates.
