last night's episode only) I was surprised Flower was the one to get, uh, "sucked off" (can I type that here? It's the show's term, not mine). I don't exactly mind--there's already a lot of ghosts to keep track of, and Flower was my least favorite ghost; her stoned schtick got old real quick IMO. But it's a rare show that kills off* a main character so early in its run.

* can we even say "killed off" when Flower was already dead? And we've seen at least one ghost (the maid) return from the Great Beyond, so I doubt she'll never be seen again, especially since I think part of the reason to "kill" Flower off was because the actress was pregnant IRL and maybe she wanted time off to be with her child?

I honestly was thinking they'd kill off either Stephanie (attic ghost), Nancy (lead cholera ghost) or--I was REALLY hoping this wouldn't be the case--Nigel (Isaac's fiancé). I rarely get terribly worked up about a character leaving a show but if Nigel had been the one to get, uh, sucked off, I would've been mightily ticked off. I adore his and Isaac's slow burn romance.

LOL though at "Flowel", especially at the end, when Jay set her free and she turned around and flew back to attack him.

ETA--I forgot to add two things...

1. I was convinced for most of the episode that it WAS Stephanie who got sucked off and Flower was the one asleep in the attic, and

2. I want to know how Flower found her release (pun intended). What had been keeping her spirit bound to the Earth that was no longer applicable?
