Julian Fellowes hears that a lot. It was only six episodes (so not a big time commitment) and, I think, meant to be a limited miniseries. I never really cared about any of the characters enough. Now there is a season 2 that takes place decades later. If you like this sort of thing, it was watchable enough with some very good cast, including the always great Harriet Walter playing a very different Caroline than the Caroline she played in Succession. But with so many good quality TV choices, I have no plans to watch S2.
