The last several years, that’s what we’ve done. Instead of taking a vacation during the week between Christmas and New Year’s like many of our friends and coworkers, we go during January. It’s a nice break after the hectic holidays and after holding down the fort for our coworkers with kids, it’s their turn to deal with all the issues that come up during the new year LOL.
We’ve gone to Hawaii multiple times for our winter vacation, as well as Mexico and Fiji and last year we went to Costa Rica. One year I want to go to Australia!
