SI anymore than the rest of the world was. Barstool Sports and The Ringer, etc, played a bigger role. It's like when people try to say Betty White died because she was vaccinated -- they're just trying to validate themselves. They aren't actually looking at the full picture.

But... people are still into sports. Not the people around here so much -- but given how much money those teams make, I think the idea that lack of interest is a big part of it is probably not going to be backed up by data.
