She had her mother brutally murdered. She was just released from prison and the media can’t seem to get enough of her. She is literally profiting off her mother’s death! I do get that true crime is huge and garners a lot of focus and attention—but this is really sad.
It's not just her mother's death. People are fascinated by her whole experience of being abused by her mother and not being helped by those who could have helped her.
I think that's what fascinates people. I have no interest in her but after everything she went through, I don't see this as quite the same as a criminal profiting off of their crime since there's no way she can get restitution from her mother for the years of unnecessary treatments and debilitating surgeries.
