I remember exactly where I was when I heard about it — in a beach bar in Mexico, having flown in the day before (via JetBlue not US Aireays). Still, it was a weird feeling having flown out of the same airport just a little before that flight. It was January 2009. I watched President Obama’s first inauguration in that same Mexican bar over breakfast with a very eclectic international crowd. Fifteen years just flies!
