I knew the interview didn't go well as they asked a bunch of technical pedagogical questions, and I blabbered on too much about somethings without saying anything at all, but my references let me know they had been contacted and talked me up, so I had hope. HR later made me supply the emails of references.
The week before Christmas I noticed that the application had moved from "in progress" to complete, and there is no way to access my application. If I were still in the running, I'd have a couple of options to access it so I could withdraw it if I so desired to. The radio silence/ghosting on their end also says a lot...
This one hurts a lot more than other job rejections because it's bringing back when I didn't get into the Ph.D program there, and they know me...
