if they were never endgame. In fact, I think that if you have six friends who start off as a platonic group, it would be a bit weird and unrealistic for four of them to wind up married to someone in the group.

That being said, I thought Rachel and Joey were rather charming together...I think I would've rathered they be endgame than Ross and Rachel.
