This isn't a complaint, but a spoiler...
I wasn't aware the book was going to be so heavily LGBTQ+ in it's storytelling. The love story was quite beautiful but fraught, and Evelyn Hugo was quite a fascinating character.
The book has a twist that left me feeling a bit punched in the throat.
I enjoyed the book mostly despite a few trite lines. It left me mostly satisfied, though it is quite sad overall.
