Last night was so clear I could see many stars AND the Andromeda Galaxy.

It was also so clear we could see a flock of snow geese flying way up overhead.

That pretty much made my week :)

We could hear the calls of the Greater White-Fronted Geese that regularly fly over Sac in the winter, so when I looked up, I thought that was more of them, but I realized today that they were white, so it had to be Snow Geese, heading to one of the nearby National Wildlife Refuges.
