They keep us on our toes in the worst case, and humble in the best case, amIright?

You are indeed right.

you HAVE been on a winning streak this year. Do you play the lottery? might want to try that. LOL

Hee! There was a rare mid-week craft show last year that had some REALLY nice raffle baskets. I'd figured I've won about all I was going to win for the year, and maybe for life, but bff convinced me to buy some raffle tickets and try my luck. No joy on the raffle front but I'm happy because the proceeds from the raffle go 100% to breast cancer research, a very important cause.

Incidentally, a local TV station this morning did a report on the luckiest and unluckiest lottery numbers. Interestingly, "unlucky" #13 really IS unlucky; it was the least drawn number of them all (I tuned in too late to see if they were talking about ALL lotteries in the country or just those here in NE Ohio). The luckiest numbers? 32, 61 and 63.

I have barely scratched the surface of my shopping list, but I kind of feel good because I've gotten everyone's MAIN gift. now it's just stocking stuffers and crafts.

The hard part is done!

My mom and I are going to the 'Artisan Fair' near my parent's house on Saturday and I'll probably find a lot of neat stuff there.

That sounds really nice--enjoy!
