to the grocery store before going to work. Picked up: mushrooms for stuffing, some veggies for a small tray, as well as herbs, an onion, apple & lemon to put in the turkey.
Now to work for several hours, then leave early to go pick up the fresh turkey.
Once home, finish cleaning off the counter so I can pull the roaster out, prepare the stuffing mix for the 'shrooms, do another load of dishes and other final prep for tomorrow.
Oh yeah, somewhere in there will be dinner, putting the turkey in the brine with plenty of ice so hubby can move it to the basement. We have a 5 gallon food-safe bucket that we bought just to use for brining the turkey.
