Saturday I hit up a couple stores on a whim and ended up buying a bunch of items! I found a couple good stocking stuffers for my sisters, some new ornaments for myself....LOL
but the REAL find was at TJ Maxx, where I found this very cool winter wood scene that lights up. i don't even know how to explain it, but I found a similar one LAST year at Home Goods and I love it, so I was thrilled to find another one.
Saturday, hubby stayed on the couch, it's his busy time of year and he's TIRED. But sitting around most of the day on Saturday meant we were up EARLY on Sunday. So we took an early morning hot tub, went out for bagels and hit up Home Depot where I bought new lights for my Christmas tree.
the last 2 years, I've used old light strands and halfway through the season one set of two sets will stop working and then I have to replace it with the tree FULLY decorated.
So last year, when it happened AGAIN I told myself to just go buy new lights this year and don't worry about it. Done!
then we went to the Christmas Shop about an hour away to look at new trees, and they didn't really have any I liked. But we DID buy two pre-lit signs that are SO VERY COOL and I cannot wait to put them up.
