You know who is going to benefit from Trump from the POV of history? All the previous US presidents who I disagreed with on policy — Reagan, Dubya — they will look better historically — because they weren’t insane! And all of Trump’s enablers — his inner circle of unqualified sycophants, this Congress and Supreme Court — their historical legacy will go down with the Trump ship they hitched themselves to.
No rational person can see Trump as sane at this point. Some of us knew this earlier but that is water under the bridge. How can anyone not see it now?
