fathom how soulless a person is to do this to a baby or how we, as a society, aren't tarring and feathering them right now.
I mentioned in the community book post about recently reading "The Buffalo Hunter Hunter" and it talking about how the Army just brutalized and murdered the native tribes because they could get away with it. Because no one was going to stop them and the government was never going to hold them accountable for their actions. And somehow here we are again, over 150 years later, doing the same thing. It's soul crushing.
