anti-Kamala protesters now?
Ditto for the college-campus protesters. Wasn't it proven that some Gaza and university protesters were paid to disseminate disinformation to make Biden look bad?
I for one - I have no idea what to do.
Me, either.
I am no longer interested in protests. I have to stand too long, and unless there is a full suite of follow-on activities (ie organizing, registering ppl to vote, ensuring they continue to engage, issue education, amplifying opinion leaders and influencers) there is no point.
I felt better after the Women's March in 2017 and was inspired by women getting into politics, but there is such a heavy feeling of despair with this presidency. In 2017, I believed in the Supreme Court. I don't now. In 2017, I believed there were checks and balances in place to hold Trump accountable, but he has wholly eroded them into collapse
Also, I no longer feel confident is sending any money to the Dems. None. Polls are often way off, and Dems often exaggerate their progress.
When the Harris' campaign admitted they knew she was never EVER ahead in the campaign, something in me broke. Don't get me started on Biden being cognitively unfit, and his aides covering it up.
I feel like I have control how I advocate in CA, that's where I can do good things that help people, but we do not protest any administration. We are non-partisan.
Good! It's comforting to be proactive.
