It's a constant conversation right now. I was visiting my brother this weekend and pulling out my groceries, saying "Ok, the berries are from Peru and Mexico!" -- and this extends to what stores we shop at. Do we go to Walmart, etc. The one thing I've consistently heard is that people don't want to boycott Costco because of its labour policies. So the agreement has become "shop at Costco, but buy Canadian."
Which means don't buy Kirkland, I guess. But I do appreciate that people know Costco is a good employer and they value that about it.
