Neither Trump nor Musk has any idea what these people do each day, or what they should be doing. I would be tempted to respond with 5 long, technical-sounding bullet points that are basically b.s. just for fun. Because as you note, people will be fired either way.
I love that they gave no thought to the fact that many DOD/FBI and other government employees are engaged in classified work that shouldn’t be detailed in emails. I was heartened that some of those agencies pushed back and told their employees not to respond.
In other news, I heard on last night’s news that the best option for containing bird flu is probably to *vaccinate* the birds. Um. Is that ironic, or is it just me?
