manufacturing jobs back to the US (and while he’s at it, he’ll put the globalization genie back in the bottle) and (b) make China and other countries pay those tariffs (like he was going to make Mexico pay for the wall). So, they’ll get a good-paying job back while getting to stick it to their perceived enemies. No mention of passing that new cost on to consumers or of retaliation trade wars on products that we export.
The voters who bought those promises should check the labels on their Trump hats and t-shirts to see where he had them manufactured.
