I'm glad the election was decided so quickly. It means that there's no ambiguity. There's no squinting or tilting your head to maybe see things a bit differently.
This is America. There was an editorial in the NYT that said that voters were hostages who had no choice other than to vote for FPOTUS Trump. I'm sorry, but that is absolutely not true. People have agency. They followed their appetites.
My sister, a Trumper, doesn't understand (or believe) that Project 2025 is already rolling out. That they started screening/interviewing people to work in the new Trump Administration about a year ago. The decision about hiring is based largely on loyalty. They can learn competence (and competence is relative), but they can't learn loyalty, especially blind loyalty.
This is America. Welcome to this new America.
