Mainly because I never for a second thought that he would actually be elected. Maybe it was naïve of me, but I was certain he would lose and sanity would prevail (even though my older brother kept telling me he was going to win). I remember sitting on the couch with my husband and we were literally open-mouth shocked when he was declared the winner.

So I don't think it could be like 2016 for me, maybe (hopefully not!) the same awful outcome, but there won't be the utter shock.
