active shooter drills and live through school shootings, we should certainly expect a former President with armed Secret Service, local law enforcement, plus private security at Mar Lago to whine less about "gunshots in the vicinity."
He has several "good guys gun with a gun" with him all the time -- what more does he want? It's not like we're leaving him defenseless with nothing but pens, pencils, crayons, glue, scissors, and textbooks for protection. He hasn't even been asked to prioritize someone else's life over his own -- he's the one everyone else jumps in front of.
It's just something he needs to get used to. He should invest in a bulletproof suit jacket and consider wearing a helmet. He should take some personal responsibility for protecting himself.
