My one concern is that the far left of the party went in so hard for him so it may look like pandering.
Other than that, despite his progressive policies in MN (which are mostly just sensible and which he does a good job of explaining as such) he comes across as more your next door neighbor than career politician. In that way he is similar to President Biden. I actually think that "good guy next door" will play as well in PA as Governor Shapiro being from the same state would have, especially since Governor Shapiro had such a similar resume and demeanor as VP Harris.
