Biden has gone from being a senile egotist to a great American hero -- which I do think is a better look for him in the history books.
I have friends who are very unconcerned the Democrats have made a massive blunder and I wish I knew what the outcome is going to be -- this is beyond risky. But I see a lot of energy and a lot of enthusiasm emerging around Kamala. So I guess I'll let myself hope this is going to work out.
I've always thought it was likely that the only thing wrong with Joe is that he's over 80 and it takes more rest to run your body at his age. I know that's true for my parents. I don't think he's senile so much as he's experiencing natural decline exacerbated by the exhaustion inherent in being President. I think that might be why we got this far.
