The biggest issue she has is too many voters are racist and sexist
It's SUPER frustrating. Arguably the best orator in our party right now is Buttigieg. I've NEVER seen him stumble. He will go on any GOP platform and argue the hell out of every important point. And yet I've had serious doubts he could ever win a national election because he's gay. The hate he got for taking paternity leave was vile. And Kamala is hated largely for being a Black woman who isn't ashamed to embrace ambition. It's so frustrating to continue to go back to the bland white straight dude that some swing voters might go for. But now, we are in the situation we're in, and we have to fight for her. We have to make people who feel comfortable insulting her much less comfortable. We have to remind everyone of the disaster of not fighting harder for Hillary.
We now have ONE candidate in this election who is competent, capable, and committed to democracy. And we have a deranged lunatic who can't string a coherent sentence together and wants to essentially turn us into Russia or North Korea. People didn't want to vote for Biden because he was too old and his cognitive health was failing? No more skirting around the FACT that Trump has long since lost his cognitive abilities.
