From a concise executive summary of Project 2025’s most alarming goals, the Dems need to target the demographics who care the most about each of those goals and get their vote out against Trump achieving them. There are plenty of Peoject 2025 goals that affect all of us. But Project 2025 may be overwhelming to many and we only have 3 months. So mobilize seniors to vote on Medicare and Social Security; environmentalists to vote on climate change; young people to vote on reproductive freedom, etc.
I agree that it has to be Kamala. It would alienate both people of color and many women if the Dems drop her and go with a white male, especially after no primaries to vote for some new candidate. At least, in a way, voters voted for both Biden and Harris in the primaries. Kamala has 4 years of experience in the White House now that she didn’t have 4 years ago. That is not insignificant. And the age issue can be all Trump’s now.
I don’t think it will be easy. But I do think it is doable if the Dems manage to message effectively. As always, it will come down to making sure those already inclined to vote actually do vote.
