Except for Governor Beshear, aren't the rest all prosecutors? I'm kinda concerned for KY if Governor Beshear steps down. They might spiral into MAGA madness.
Looking at the GOP ticket, the VP pick has to be someone who isn't scary to suburban female voters and I wouldn't be happy with a "mixed" ticket (a Republican to show that Democrats are serious or other silliness). I mean, then-Senator Biden was picked as the VP option back in the day to calm people who weren't sure about having a young black man in charge of the country (if we're being honest here).
What does she lack/need to counter to win Independents?
