He's done a lot. His administration has made some substantial changes despite Republican efforts to block everything.
I feel this way too. But the people whose job it is to communicate this, do not seem to be able to communicate it effectively.
That being said, Americans have very short memories and they do not understand or properly attribute some of the things that have benefited them and theirs specifically. It's much easier to complain about not getting a whole pie than to compliment the one piece that you had.
Prime example of Americans not understanding what is a benefit to them and who got it for them: The people who were covered by the ACA who wanted to save the ACA but eliminate Obamacare. 😳
I’m feeling very discouraged tonight but I’ll probably bounce back. I am happy to hear that Biden pleasantly surprised you by being much more progressive than you had hoped. During the 2020 campaign, I felt like Biden was exactly what this country needed: a sane, competent, decent man who understands how government works and isn’t all flash and no substance. I knew he was not an eloquent speaker like Obama, Clinton, Reagan. But I hoped he’d be able to communicate better than he did tonight.
