Do they really want their place in history to be that they were the ones who turned the US presidency into a dictatorship by giving all US presidents total immunity from prosecution and carte blanche to commit all the crimes they want? Surely these Supreme Court justices are all intelligent enough, even if most MAGAs aren’t, to understand that they would not only be giving immunity to Trump but to all US presidents — past, present and future?
Trump can’t fire them and they would be unlikely to ever see whatever money he promises them. Trump never pays anyone.
