He was retired - he meant it, was done, and that was that.

But I always thought he could be swayed to come back when Genie Francis retired to usher her off the canvas.

And now it will never happen.

My condolences to his family and loved ones.
He has my gratitude and sincere thanks for what he gave to me as a fan of the show.
