How exactly does airing his final episode celebrate him or pay tribute? It doesn't. As I stated in my OG post. It would not be a heavy lift to edit in interviews with his co-stars talking about him and what it was like to work with him. They wouldn't even have to go into the studio for it if they are on blackout--which they were not when he died b/c Rory posted the crew eating from a buffet on set.
Who doesn't have a smart phone in this day and age? Or they could do a zoom video and the crew records it and edits into the episode.

All of them would jump at the chance. So again, not hard at all.
