I understand her being horrified, but the character has been in so many tight situations that her being a shrinking violent with Sonny and then wanting to tell the truth when she knows Sidwell framed her ... is NOT Laura!

With all the crises she has gone through, I have no problem with her breaking down in private, ONCE THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN DEALT WITH! But Laura clutching her pearls while Sonny talks her down is NOT Laura.
