Mayor's Office: Laura was re-elected. I thought for sure that she would lose, Ezra would win and then Sidwell would off him in a few months and then there would be a special election and Laura would get the role back. Based on her behavior all year, and not caring about the optics, she deserved to lose. I mean, having dinner with a local mob boss. Imagine if a real life mayor or governor did that. It would be an enormous scandal. I think that is what bugged me about it the most. Sonny was fine if she distanced herself--he told her that more than once, but she was defiant because of how long they have been friends and the fact they share a grandson? So what! No need to flaunt it and she did flaunt it. That being said, I did enjoy her scenes with Drew.

Laura has been needlessly defiant about the whole Sonny situation. She has no impulse control. I hope she changes her ways. It was nice to see Drew's face when they found out she won. It seemed like Laura was getting through to Drew, until then he remembered Sidwell's threat. Drew is in a no-win situation and it is all of his own making. He is also a hypocrite for scolding Laura about Sonny while plotting with Sidwell.

PCPD: Good scenes but you can't have it both ways. Everyone involved knows what caliber attorney Alexis and Ric are. I get some hesitation but not the degree. Of course there was a risk they could all end up in trouble but trust what your lawyers are telling you--it's the best way to prove Dalton lied and the entire thing falls apart. In the end, I am glad they listened to the teens. Not that it matters now...more on that later.

All of this. But it is natural for the parents to worry.

Brown Dog: Ooo wee but DG cannot play drunk convincingly. That was bad acting 101. I don't think it was necessary to have a slur, stumble and crazy eyes. It was cringe. And Vaughn stepping in because he thought Dalton was about to strike Emma--maybe but she had already assaulted him. Throwing a drink on someone is assault. Oh well. WSBarbie & Ken do nothing for me!

He was terrible. so cringe.

Windemere: I'm so sick of Sidwell. His mannerisms bug me. I am glad Britt stood her ground and showed no fear. And then here comes piss drunk Dalton--loud and slurring. I was surprised when Sidwell murdered him in front of Britt. But ๐Ÿ˜‚ @ the way he fell down. Another shooting victim. Couldn't they have at least have Sidwell offer him a poisoned drink? And I thought Pascall was the butler, why isn't he answering the door? ๐Ÿ™„

I enjoy Sidwell. Britt needs him and he knows it. The shooting scene was too funny. But I was surprised. You leave Pascal alone. He is not a butler :)
