give you something. I had a feeling they didn't have long term plans for him because they didn't give him a family. Oh we heard about his parents but nary a parent appeared. If they were invested in his character, they would have laid the groundwork by giving him roots.

Having him be Drew's intern gave some decent conflict/drama. I think they should have stretched it longer and perhaps, Drew even corrupted Kai and looped him into his shenanigans (secretly).
