I get it. But for me, ever since Rory took over the role, Michael's smugness is through the roof. And for added measure, he laps him in the entitlement department as well. At least Drew knows who and what he is and doesn't pretend to be a nice guy. He's an @sshole and he wears it proudly. He's a banana peel away from Peter territory.
Michael pretends to be a nice guy and that's how most of the characters view him but would a nice guy keeps his children away from their mother and then fake a supervised visit so that their children get to see their mother cuffed by their uncle? Nice guys don't typically smear/intimidate women over a kiss that sent them falling into her BFF and siring a child.
And don't get me started on lying for daddy regarding the murder of an unarmed FBI agent. Nina's colorful past? B***h, look at your father's past & PRESENT!
