The major networks could have rotated coverage by the day to not impact programming in such a way. I guess that’s not how it works. Of course I had heard of OJ but to this day I am baffled as to why it garnered the circus that it did:

~The celebrity angle?

~The interracial marriage?

~The savagery of the murders?

I guess it was the perfect recipe for sensationalism!
