To do some kind of research and they threatened to blow her up? Whether she was taken or whatever, she is acting like everything is back to normal, wants her old life back to some degree and doesn't seem to have a care in the world with regards to whoever was pulling the strings. I'm surprised Jack hasn't had her picked up so far.
