I accept Kevin/Laura as a couple now and their relationship when it was onscreen was refreshing in that they were always honest with each other(except when Kevin knew about Ryan that brief while).

Maybe if Lucy wasn't so flighty and didn't seem stuck as a less grounded version of herself from the 90s I might've felt differently.

That and she will always want Scott. At least Laura is devoted to Kevin and she was Scott's first wife.
