I like the actress and given the character's history and people in her life, can see her becoming an agent, and the soapiness of it given her parents. But I have problems with the execution.
First of all, the partner they brought in for Josslyn was poorly executed. I don't like to blame the actor, since he's only been given variations on the same scene, but I don't see any chemistry with Josslyn - as a partner or potential love interest. It doesn't help that he is totally isolated from the rest of the cast. For example, I think if Isiah was a WSB agent in addition to doctor (after all he was on assignment with Lucky) having him training Josslyn would be more interesting, even though ot as a love interest (He is too old and there are a couple of female characters, such as Jordan, I would prefer to see as him with).
I think it would even be more interesting with Anna overseeing Josslyn instead of what's his name.
