as well. Going to the parent of the teen was the right way to handle it.

for Danny and Gio's actions, but has said nothing to Rocco about HIS ACTIONS! Rocco chose to go the party knowing his dad would not approve. Rocco chose to drink and let older boys talk him into chugging even more alcohol.

Dante's fury towards Gio and Danny was way overboard. I understand the show wanting there to be tension between Gio and Dante before Dante discovers Gio is his son -- but the level of fury he leveled at Gio compared to Gio's actions were way out of whack since it came from a complete stop.

Dante's fury mere minutes after getting news how close his son came to dying is logical. Dante going off on Gio as the adult who was present, also logical. He's running on raw emotion. Did he go overboard? Yes indeed but people are acting like he had to be pulled off Gio and that's not what happened. He gave him a verbal tongue lashing. These hack writers may or may not have Dante address the behavior with Rocco. Gio is 21 years old and used poor judgment, that even he knows could have ended tragically. That can't be overlooked b/c Rocco is okay. Cody doesn't arrive, they could be planning a funeral right now. Gio needs to feel the gravity of that.

And you are correct no one forced Rocco to go but as Dante and Jason even stated--Rocco looks up to Danny and thus he has influence over him. He didn't want to go to the college party, but he went because his brother strongly urged him to. As I said, there is plenty of blame to go around. Lois can eat 💩 and die with her squawking.

If the wanted Dante to unleash so much fury towards Gio and blame Lois for the lack of consequences for choices Gio made -- there should have been occasional scenes prior to this where Gio displayed a lack of judgment or made a mistake. As it was, I kept wondering what consequences was Lois always protecting Gio from? Gio has had NO scenes being anything but perfect.

Oh it's manufactured drama straight out of the soap opera playbook. Yesterday, Dante said that each time Gio would mess up as a teen, Lois or Gloria would swoop in and prevent anyone from chastising him. Maybe BLQ said that to Chase. I forget, but one of them spoke those words.
