I love Laura but she’s dumb to not distance herself from Sonny. It’s career suicide and will cost her come election time. Be friends with him if you so choose—but to flaunt it is asinine. The devil you know is still a devil!

I don't disagree, she should keep her distance publicly. But I also find it very convenient that this is an issue now all of a sudden. She's been elected and re-elected and this has come up before and obviously was a non issue for the voters and shes by all accounts popular. She's also not wrong about Sidwell. Is it better the devil you know vs the devil you don't? We know Sidwell has tried to kill Anna, Lucky, Jason, Sasha....and that's in the last 6-8 months, all people with ties to Laura, with the accepting of Sasha i guess. So I also get where she's coming from. I mean, he did try to kill her son.

I partially agree here. I'll add the way they have Laura so wishy-washy is really annoying. Wasn't it late last year when she threw down the gauntlet and washed her hands of Sonny and his lifestyle? And then months later, she did a 180 out of nowhere.

I just think it's crazy to think that putting Sonny out of business will mean less violence. It's absurd. When Sonny was thought to be dead for a year, Carly and Jason had to get married to stop Carly from getting killed.....and Sidwell wasn't even around then. And I also think it's ridiculous that Sonny can't just get another warehouse for his "coffee business". 🙄 Like if he loses the warehouse and office properties he'd be put of business. Like he has zero options. It's absurd

This!!! Even Sonny lamenting how vital those piers are to his business. He's a millionaire, find another pier, hell--build one. This is just the writers very poor attempt to up the stakes. He pays Diane big bucks but won't follow her legal advice--pride most likely. The man can't take an L to save his life.

Personally, ive said this before but I'd love to see Sonny out of the mob altogether. It's been so poorly written in recent years, what's the point?

It's time. But wasn't it mentioned that he can't just retire from it? I mean, I guess Jason could takeover. Give him something else to do. Start a trucking company, announce the Corinthos Coffee retail chain.
