in enough scenes to decide. I find it promising that they have him working with Alexis and Diane and connecting with Lucas. It is a very good thing that he has a job with core characters and will hopefully not just have scenes with his budding romantic partner. Unfortunately, too often new characters are given a job title, but we seldom, if ever see them at work or with their coworkers. The more secondary characters a new character interact with the more interesting they become. Romance is crucial for soap characters, but if they only exist as the romantic object of a more integrated character it is hard to hold audience interest for those who aren't totally into the romance.
