Their social media had an intriguing campaign, portraying the far from tech-savvy Lucy (Lynn Herring) as teasing an upcoming announcement, but she needed the help of the younger nurses to make it work. Finally, on the show’s April 1 anniversary episode, Lucy was shown making the announcement at the press conference for the dedication of the Dr. Monica Quartermaine Cardiac Care Unit event.
