Who's Coming
Charlie Besso (Tobias): Aiden’s (Colin Cassidy) love interest will finally appear on screen this week after first being name-dropped in December 2023, when Aiden came out to his mom, Liz (Rebecca Herbst). Besso has appeared in prime-time on shows like Will Trent and The Calling.
Colin Cassidy (Aiden Spencer): Liz and Lucky’s son is, likewise, on this week and will appear in scenes with his beau.
Jeff Kober (Cyrus Renault): Pressure mounts this week for Martin’s (Michael E. Knight) brother as more eyes are on him in connection with the murders of Dex (Evan Hofer) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) and the attempt on Michael’s (Chad Duell) life.
Lydia Look (Selina Wu): Brad’s (Parry Shen) mobster aunt will be back in the thick of things. Will she be interacting with Congressman Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) again?
Scarlett Spears (Donna Corinthos): Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s (Laura Wright) adorable daughter will be on hand for scenes this week.
Vernee Watson (Stella Henry): Curtis’s (Donnell Turner) aunt will be involved in things but will it have to do with her nephew, his daughter Trina (Tabyana Ali) or perhaps her friend Kai (Jens Austin Astrup)?
Guy Wilson (Lucky Spencer): The former DAYS star, who played Will Horton from 2014-2015, will be stepping in for Jonathan Jackson for a short-term stay and will first air on Tuesday, February 18.
Who's Going
Jonathan Jackson (Lucky Spencer): The actor will be out for a short time, and is being temporarily replaced by Guy Wilson.
Real-Life Status
Baby Love: Lindsey Morgan, who played Kristina Corinthos-Davis on GH from 2012-2013 and was nominated for a Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Younger Actress, announced that she’s expecting a baby with her husband, Shaun Sipos. Alongside a video documenting her pregnancy journey thus far, the actress wrote on Instagram, “Surprise! Looks, like I’ll be needing bigger pants… I love you @shaun_sipos ((We are so thrilled for this beautiful blessing 🥹)).” Kristen Alderson, who worked alongside Morgan while playing Starr on GH and welcomed her own first child last year, was among the first to offer her well wishes, writing, “Omgggg 😍😍congratulations!!! You’re going to LOVE IT🥹❤️.”
Industry News
Daytime Emmy Change: TV Insider reports that the Daytime Emmy Awards will be introducing a new category called Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series. In 2023, the category honoring younger actors, Outstanding Younger Performer in a Drama Series, was retired. Rachel Schwartz, Head of Daytime and Children & Family Emmy Awards, told the site that the new category is “specifically for people who are on their first daytime contract, so there is not necessarily an age parameter with it. Although, I do imagine that some of the people that enter into the category will be on the younger end of the spectrum.” The next awards ceremony will be in October.
