give her Windemere because it belonged to The Cassadine Estate. There are so many things wrong with this asinine plot point:
1. Nikolas is the first son of the first son and thus he can do as he pleases as the head of the estate. In the mid 1990’s he told Helena she was totally dependent on him for every dime she had and he threatened to cut her off if she didn’t stay away from Laura/Lucky/Lulu
2. In 2013, Nik hit financial trouble and sold Windemere to buy Emily’s engagement ring. For Xmas she gave him and envelope and inside was the deed to Windermere—which means it was Nik’s do do with as he pleased.
3. Nik and Ava divorced 2 years ago. That means lawyers, paperwork and court system was involved.
4. Ava losing her divorce settlement would have had no impact on her credit cards and especially not Ric’s whose also didn’t work. Ava Jerome is nowhere near paycheck to paycheck and I’m sure her CC are not maxed out.
