at that time, sonny would not have known about dante being his son, so he would have done it for lois/blq

and despite lois and olivia being besties, lois did not know that dante was sonny's son

i don't even know if blq told lois that dante was the dad. because we have not seen lois give any funny reactions to gio around dante or gio around sonny the way she around gio and blq
