mother who taught her how to grift and nothing more. She was an absentee mother. Now she finds out that Robert is her dad--they shared a nice hug and he bounced with her mother. At some point I wonder if she feels like--it's me. I'm just not lovable?
This scene from Fresh Prince popped into my head. Will finally reunited with his bio dad, who really snowed Will into thinking he was ready for a father/son relationship. It was all a lie as he left him yet again.
